Team Coaching
Teams build clarity, grow connection and gain confidence
Our Team Coaching focuses on building trust and strengthening how teams work together.
We pay close attention to team dynamics and energy, holding conversations in a professional, structured and contained way. Nothing is shared outside the room unless explicitly agreed, creating the safety needed for meaningful conversation and connection.
Our Team Coaching supports teams to reflect, take individual accountability and build confidence in how they work together. The learning is practical and designed to actually be taken back into day-to-day work, allowing teams to continue applying what they develop long after the session has ended.
Evidence backed
We use evidence based tools to help teams build connection further. These tools are used in our Team Coaching to support individual reflection, consider team conversation styles and create meaningful action collectively.
Gallup StrengthsFinder
This tool helps teams discover their natural talents. Combined with our six-gear approach in our Team Coaching sessions, this tool supports teams to develop their individual talents into strengths that drive confidence and performance as a team.
Research shows that strength-based teams can see an incredible 12.5% increase in productivity.
Our work is rooted in connection.
Our Team Coaching is all about building team trust. We work on strengthening communication styles by creating an open and honest space for conversation. This allows teams to reflect, take accountability and gain confidence.
From our team to yours, this work is about people. The same values, approach and care run through every conversation and programme we deliver.
Meet Tess and the people who power Accelerator coaching
Accelerator Coaching is led and delivered by Tess, supported by a growing team of practitioners who share the same core values.
Tess — Founder & Lead Coach
Q1. What do you actually do — and who do you do it for?
I run coach-led leadership development programmes for managers and senior teams. My clients are people who are good at what they do but want to lead with more intention — better conversations, clearer thinking, stronger teams. I work across sectors including the NHS, CDFI’s, elite sport, utilities, hospitality.
Q2. What made you want to do this kind of work?
I spent years working closely with leaders responsible for performance and people, and I saw how often the real blockers weren’t skills or strategy — they were self-awareness, communication, and emotional intelligence. I wanted to create a space where leaders could work on that without the noise. Accelerator Coaching started in 2015 and it’s still the most meaningful work I’ve done.
Q3. What do clients say about working with you?
They say I make it feel safe enough to be honest — which is where the real work starts. I’m told I’m warm and direct in equal measure, and that sessions feel both challenging and supportive. The thing I hear most is that they leave with clarity they didn’t have when they arrived.
Q4. What’s your superpower — the thing you bring that others don’t?
I don’t waste people’s time. I’m resourceful, I cut to what matters, and I tailor everything — no off-the-shelf programmes, no unnecessary complexity. I genuinely love making connections between people and ideas, and I bring energy and compassion to every session. I won’t stop until the work is done well.
Q5. What do people not expect about you?
That I climbed Kilimanjaro for my 50th birthday. I practise what I preach when it comes to stretching yourself and doing things that matter. I’m also a mum to 18 year old twins and a 24 year old — and working hard at being the best version of myself is something I take seriously both at home and at work. I had a mum with Schizophrenia and this shaped me. I love life and love my ice baths!

Hear from teams
Teresa ran a fantastic session for my team of around 30 ICT professionals as we got together as a group for the first time after Covid. Tess’ style was engaging and knowledgeable; focusing us on wellbeing and team bonding and keeping everyone engaged and interested.
